Now for the chimney.  Path drawing tool.  Shape = square, Color = B22222,  Mode = 2D, W = 95, H = 95.  Go to Effects/FM Tile tools/Brick using these settings - Depth = 0.703, Distortion = -0.906, Rows = 8, Bricks Across = 4, Stacking = 1, Offset = 0.750, Rounding = 0.  Apply.

Click on Effect/Material Effect/Emboss then options.  Using these settings: Coating color= B22222, Depth= 1, light source= second box from the bottom on the left.  Hit 'ok'.

For everybody, I decided to cheat a little by creating the walls, which you'll find in my file called 'Walls'.   Open up that file, drag and drop the 'Front Wall' object into your canvas.  Line it up with the bottom of the roof and send to the back.  Keep this selected.  Go to Edit/Fill and fill the wall with E8DDD2.    Effect/FM Tile tools/bricks- Depth= 0.355, Distortion= 0.906, Rows= 25, Bricks Across= 10, Stacking= 1, Row Offset= 0.750, Rounding= 0, Background Color= unchecked.  Apply.  Effect/Material Effect/Emboss.  Click on the Options button.  Coating Color= E8DDD2, Depth= 1, and bottom left box for light source.  Hit 'ok'.  Deselect and save.

In the 'Walls' file drag and drop the 'Glass Wall' object into your canvas. Line it up with the front wall.  Open the Easy palette and look for Deb's glass presets.  Choose the one called 'Deep Wispy Blue'.  Double click to apply to the 'Glass Wall'.  This will automatically, change it into Mode= 3D round.  If you want to lower the opacity, click on the material button and going to the Transparency tab.  Maximum transparency should be at 90%.

In the 'Walls' file drag and drop the 'Back Wall' object into your canvas. Click on the Path drawing tool. Color= White, Mode= 2D.

Send the 'Back Wall' to the bottom.  Select the 'Glass Wall' and send backward.  All three walls should be lined up together.

We'll now make the window frames:  Click on the Outline drawing tool.  Shape= Rectangle, Color= 502921, Mode= 3D round, Border= 4, W= 70, H=120.  After the rectangle is drawn go to Effect/Eye Candy 3/Inner Bevel.  Bevel Width= 14, Shape= Rounded, Smoothness= 4, Shadow Depth= 33, Brightness= 100, Sharpness= 32, Direction= 135, last pick Rounded.  Hit 'ok'.  Duplicate the first window frame for each remaining rectangle window and move into their places.  Select all three on the left and center horizontally.  Do the same for the right side.  For the circular windows- Shape= Circle, Color= 502921, Mode= 3D round, Border= 4, W=70, H=70.  Use the same inner bevel as before.  Duplicate each one and move into their places.  Select all of the window frames and merge as a single object.  Save.

Open the windowpane2.ufo file.  Drag this into your workspace.  Edit/Fill and use color 502921.  Effects/EyeCandy3/Inner Bevel - only change the Bevel Shape= Button.  Click 'ok'. Now use the resize tool to resize the window pane to fit the window frame.  Click on the window frame, right click and bring to front.  Duplicate the window pane and do the same thing for each of the other windows.  Click the three left and align horizontally.  Same for the right side.  Circle windows are the same.  If you don't want the panes in the circular ones then skip the next step.

For the window trim: Path drawing tool- Shape= Rectangle, Color=  open the Easy Palette/Presets/Deb's shaders and locate the chocolate brown preset and double click.  Mode= 3D round, W=80, H=15.  Duplicate and place one on the top portion of the rectangular window panes.  Duplicate and place on bottom of a window pane.  Select both and right click- Align=  Center Horizontally.  Right click again and merge as a single object.  Now, duplicate for each remaining window.  Right click- Align= Center Horizontally.

In the Layer Manager select the window frames, window panes and the window trim and merge them all as a single object.

Last but not least is the making of the door.  The door will have two layers which we'll merge as a single object after.  Path drawing tool- Shape= rectangle. Color= any  wood preset (I used one of Rosie's presets), Mode= 2D. W= 94, H=163.  Duplicate and change the color of the second rectangle to 522921. Mode= Continue draw. W= 35, H= 69.  Draw another rectangle inside the duplicated rectangle

Path Edit tool- Duplicate the smaller rectangle and put it to the right side of the first one.  Hold down the shift key and click on both rectangles then Align= Top.  Duplicate.  Put the duplicated panels below the first two then Align= Bottom.  Select the two left rectangles and Align= Left.  Select the two right rectangles and Align= Right. Click the Editing button.

Effect/Eye Candy 3/Inner Bevel and use the settings as pictured below.

Line the panel door part on top of the bottom wooden one.  Go to Layer manager and select both parts.  Merge as a single object.  Move to where you want the door, deselect and save.

Locate the doorknob file in my Apartment files folder.  Open it and copy and paste as object.  Move it to the right side of the door.  Merge everything but the back wall and the glass wall as a single object. Deselect and save.

To make your townhouse complete, add curtains and other decorations, as this will make your townhouse look inviting.  Merge all pieces into a single object.

I hope that you enjoyed my tutorial.  And don't forget to save your hard work. :o)
