Now for the chimney.
Path drawing tool.
Shape = square,
Color = B22222,
Mode = 2D,
W = 95, H = 95.
Go to Effects/FM Tile tools/Brick using these settings -
Depth = 0.703,
Distortion = -0.906,
Rows = 8,
Bricks Across = 4,
Stacking = 1,
Offset = 0.750,
Rounding = 0.
Apply.

Place the
chimney by the right eave and send backward two times.
Click on Object/Shadow. Make
sure shadow box is checked.
Using these settings- first box,
X-offset= 5, Y-offset= 5, Transparency= 50, Shadow size=
100, Soft edge= 10. Click 'ok'. Deselect and save.

Click on
Effect/Material Effect/Emboss then options.
Using these settings: Coating color= B22222, Depth= 1, light
source= second box from the bottom on the left. Hit 'ok'.
For everybody, I decided to cheat a
little by creating the walls, which you'll find in my file
called 'Walls'. Open up that file, drag and drop the
'Front Wall' object into your canvas. Line it up with the
bottom of the roof and send to the back. Keep this
selected. Go to Edit/Fill and fill the wall with E8DDD2.
Effect/FM
Tile tools/bricks-
Depth= 0.355,
Distortion= 0.906,
Rows= 25,
Bricks Across= 10,
Stacking= 1,
Row Offset= 0.750,
Rounding= 0,
Background Color= unchecked.
Apply. Effect/Material Effect/Emboss. Click on the
Options button. Coating
Color= E8DDD2, Depth= 1, and bottom left box for light source.
Hit 'ok'.
Deselect and save.
In the 'Walls' file drag and drop
the 'Glass Wall' object into your canvas. Line it up with the
front wall. Open the Easy palette and look for Deb's glass presets.
Choose the one called 'Deep Wispy Blue'. Double
click to apply to the 'Glass Wall'. This will
automatically, change it into Mode= 3D round. If you want to
lower the opacity, click on the material button and going
to the Transparency tab. Maximum transparency should be at
90%.
In the 'Walls' file drag and drop
the 'Back Wall' object into your canvas. Click on the Path
drawing tool. Color= White, Mode= 2D.
Send the 'Back
Wall' to the bottom. Select the 'Glass Wall' and send
backward. All three walls should be lined up together.
We'll now make the window frames: Click on the
Outline drawing tool.
Shape= Rectangle,
Color= 502921,
Mode= 3D round,
Border= 4,
W= 70, H=120.
After the rectangle is drawn go to Effect/Eye Candy 3/Inner
Bevel.
Bevel Width= 14, Shape= Rounded, Smoothness= 4, Shadow Depth=
33, Brightness= 100, Sharpness= 32, Direction= 135, last pick
Rounded. Hit 'ok'.
Duplicate the first window frame for each remaining rectangle window and move into
their places. Select all three on the left and center
horizontally. Do the same for the right side. For the circular windows- Shape= Circle,
Color= 502921, Mode= 3D round, Border= 4, W=70, H=70. Use
the same inner bevel as before. Duplicate each one and
move into their places. Select all of the window frames
and merge as a single object. Save.

Open the windowpane2.ufo
file.
Drag this into your workspace. Edit/Fill and use color 502921.
Effects/EyeCandy3/Inner Bevel - only change the Bevel Shape=
Button.
Click 'ok'. Now use the
resize tool to resize the window pane to fit the window frame.
Click on the window frame, right click and bring to front.
Duplicate the window pane and do the same thing for each of the
other windows. Click the three left and align
horizontally. Same for the right side. Circle windows are the same. If you
don't want the panes in the circular ones then skip the next step.
For the
window trim:

Shape= Rectangle,
Color= open the Easy Palette/Presets/Deb's shaders and
locate the chocolate brown preset and double click.
Mode= 3D round,
W=80, H=15.
Duplicate and place one on the top portion of the rectangular
window panes. Duplicate and place on bottom of a window
pane. Select both and right click- Align= Center
Horizontally. Right click again and merge as a single
object. Now, duplicate for each
remaining window. Right click- Align= Center Horizontally.
In the Layer
Manager select the window frames, window panes and the
window trim and merge them all as a single object.
Last but not least is the making of the door. The door
will have two layers which we'll merge as a single object after.
Path drawing tool-
Shape= rectangle.
Color= any wood preset (I used one of Rosie's presets),
Mode= 2D. W= 94, H=163.
Duplicate and change the color of the second rectangle to
522921.
Mode= Continue draw.
W= 35, H= 69.
Draw another rectangle inside the duplicated rectangle
Path Edit tool-
Duplicate the smaller rectangle and put it to the right side of
the first one.
Hold down the shift key and click on both rectangles then
Align= Top. Duplicate.
Put the duplicated panels below the first two then Align=
Bottom. Select the two left rectangles and Align= Left.
Select the two right rectangles and Align= Right. Click the Editing button.
Effect/Eye Candy 3/Inner Bevel and use the settings as pictured
below.

Line the
panel door part on top of the bottom wooden one. Go to
Layer manager and select both parts. Merge as a single
object. Move to where you want the door, deselect and save.
Locate the doorknob file in my
Apartment files folder. Open it and copy and paste as
object. Move it to the right side of the door. Merge
everything but the back wall and the glass wall as a single
object. Deselect and save.
To make your
townhouse complete, add curtains and other decorations, as this
will make your townhouse look inviting. Merge all pieces
into a single object.
